This is a great book for mothers and daughters or for the whole family to read together. It was kind of hilarious. The range of well written emotions the characters threw at each other along with snowballs and the f Lexi Anderson, the new Martha Stewart minus the jail time helps her neighbor, Kyle and his family find their Christmas spirit and in the process finds love and family for herself.

When Lexi catches him messing with her perfect snowman, she has some not very nice thin Wonderful, sweet Christmas hmbug romance novella about a single mom and her Grinch of a next door neighbor. I don’t mind fluff but it just seemed like fluff for fluffs sake. Families join together and hearts are healed as this couple goes walking in a winter wonderland. I think I’m going to steer clear of Christmas romance novels for quite some time.

Sometimes, it seems more like telling than showing. I will not reveal anymore but it becomes very funny after that scene.


I hope she doesn’t mind. Enjoy the book and get borrocks to laugh while you sip on that warm cup of hot chocolate. We find out the only thing that Lexi cant do is make fudge, but don’t worry, because Kyles family confirms that he is aaamazing at making fudge. Goodreads helps you keep track of books you want to read. In the end after the two main characters haven’t so much as even hugged, or gone on one date, neighbor guy is all the sudden asking her kids’ permission to marry their mom.

The romance isn’t so steamy it fogs up your Kindle screen and there are no step by step sex scenes. Amazon Second Chance Pass it on, trade it in, give it a second life.

The Chick Flick Clique series looks cute. Withoutabox Submit to Film Festivals. I could very much see this as one of those Holiday Hallmark movies that my mother just lives for and forces me to watch from time to time.

They spend most of their time together over the next few days. I pretty much never read romances but for some reason I enjoy some Christmas Fluff around the holidays which is just what this book is.

In particular, Lexi seems to be the most developed character; she’s my favorite because she has a straight-forward yet witty personality. The long and short of this review many pardon’s if I am a little jumpy with this, post holiday cold requires lots of nyquil! Alongside the sweet romance that sparks between the main characters, Horrocks weaves stories of grief and healing between their families. This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. I love the cheesy, quick romance.

The characters could’ve been interesting, but were far too predictable. There were typos and that drove me a bit nutty, but that isn’t why I’m only giving it two stars.
